Business Analyst Manager - Assurance Technology
CurrentMy philosophy is to initially focus on easy to develop and implement solutions that address common pain points to establish credibility. After obtaining the necessary buy-in, move further to transform the business with larger, long term, more disruptive solutions. I am an efficiency focused digital transformation professional. I have designed, developer and implemented over 30 workflow solutions at my firm, sometimes performing all three functions for the same workflow. These solutions range from enhancing a preexisting niche process for a small group of individuals, to firmwide workflows that touch every business facing professional. Some of these processes contain compliance requirements and many of them enhance efficiency for the firm or have allowed the firm to seamlessly scale. I have experience in gathering user requirements, specifying requests for developers, rolling up my sleeves and doing some of the development, beta testing with users, conducting trainings, writing guides and email walkthroughs and firmwide implementations.I also manage a team of data analysts. The group started when I identified a need for dedicated extraction and data formatting specialists to support the audit practice. In the 5 years since inception, the team has grown immensely in size and scope. The group now has 8 FTE and produces over 1M in revenue, mostly from intercompany servicing. We continue to expand beyond simple extractions and formatting into complex calculations and analysis, macro development and Robotics Process Automation solutions. I have also overseen internal efficiency enhancements that has propelled the group to increase capacity beyond adding headcount. This has enabled the team to clear 20,000+ requests over the past 5 years, with the past Fiscal Year clearing over 5,000 requests.
