I was involved in various projects in the applied research area of smart objects and the internet of things. Continuing my PhD related research I was also involved in tasks such as the technical design and implementation of prototypical smart systems on the basis of artificial intelligence methods with a focus on human-computer interaction, such as tangible and embodied user interfaces.

I explored and developed novel approaches for human-objects interaction in intelligent environments. My research focused particularly on creating natural, human-like interfaces through anthropomorphic design principles. This interdisciplinary work combined haptic and speech user interface design, cognitive psychology, and artificial intelligence to develop more intuitive ways for humans to interact with smart objects, aiming to make technology feel more natural and accessible.
