Drawing upon my 29 years of IT education and real-world experience, I currently find myself in the honorable position of providing a broad range of IT / Media related services to students, faculty and staff here on the Texas Wesleyan School of Law campus. We also… Show more Drawing upon my 29 years of IT education and real-world experience, I currently find myself in the honorable position of providing a broad range of IT / Media related services to students, faculty and staff here on the Texas Wesleyan School of Law campus. Together with my co-worker, Chad Ballenger, we deploy and support all desktop and notebook computers, telephone systems, media systems, printer systems, etc., both in offices, conference and lecture halls, and in classrooms as well. We also support all media requests including recording of classroom and meeting sessions, production of CD's/DVD's, multi-media presentations, and hardware-software issues related to these services. Additionally, both Chad and I serve as the remote "eyes and hands, the arms and the legs" for the whole of the Texas Wesleyan IT / Media Team residing on the Historic TxWes Campus, providing hands-on solutions here on the TxWesLaw campus. When test time rolls around, Chad and I are on-site and on-call for support of our EBB - Electronic Blue Book - Testing, supporting proctors and students in class, and providing support and when necessary, data recovery, preservation and re-composition after class as well. We serve as hardware/software consultants to students, faculty and staff whenever needed. As an added bonus to our TxWesLaw team, students, faculty and staff, our IT department will also service and repair personal desktops, laptops and mobile devices on a limited basis. Thinking back on all the services we do provide, I think it safe to say there is hardly anything we don't or can't do in the way of IT/Media User Hardware/Software Support! It has been nothing short of a real joy to work with such a competent and professional technician such as Chad Ballenger, and a joy upon joy to be able to serve our amazing TxWesLaw Team here on campus providing real-time solutions whenever and wherever needed and called upon.
