Responsible for all aspects of testing a web based .NET system for a consortium of four states. The Women Infant and Children WIC program is funded by the federal government and administered by the states. It provides low income women with health and nutritional education and food vouchers through local health clinics.• Managed 14 Software Quality Analysts in various complex aspects of the whole testing effort including functional, system, integrated, end to end, reports, interface, and data conversion testing. Ensured all testing deliverables were completed on time and within budget. • Collected metrics used to alert upper management of progress and issues on the project.• Successfully introduced standardized test scripts and test result gathering. Filled in writing test scripts and tesing areas of the application as needed.• Reviewed and analyzed Functional Detailed Requirement Documents for ambiguities in business requirements and business rules for the various modules of the system. Wrote requirement trace matrices, test plans, and test scripts. • Successfully project managed testing efforts on a software upgrade to PeopleSoft Finance version 8.8.• Matrix managed users in testing PeopleSoft modules. Involved scheduling resources, documenting defects, updating documentation. Resulted in 0 defects found after implementation of software.

Managed software testing of enterprise mainframe, client/server, and web based systems. Testing covered the areas of new development, operating system upgrades, and production support to the order entry and billing systems.• Directed efforts to ensure operational readiness for expansion into 16 new markets. This included leading a team in business analysis, planning, logistic setup and testing end to end business processes through billing. Resulted in a smooth operation into these markets with an additional $10M of new business within the first year of operation.• Directed the testing efforts of merging a 150,000 customer database into existing company databases and systems. An effort of this size had never previously been attempted by the company. The effort was so successful that less than 3% of all customer service calls were related to the merger.• Led the development of an integration test environment including hardware and software analysis, test tools, and development of the financial plan. Previous testing was conducted in the production environment. Resulted in reduced risk of impacts to customers and allowed for more thorough testing.• Introduced best practices test methodology to testing group and business units.
