Project manager for Ames Construction in the Rocky Mountain Region based in Aurora Colorado. Prior to starting with Ames Construction in 2022, I worked for Kiewit all across the United States. I start with Kiewit in the summer of 2006 as a Laborer on the Oakland Bay Bridge Replacement project. This summer job was a great opportunity for me to learn about the construction industry, Kiewit and what would soon become my future profession. After a few more summers of laboring for Kiewit, I was offered a summer internship in New Orleans on the Huey P Long Bridge replacement. This was another great opportunity to see Kiewit from the management side and at this point I knew that I had picked the right career path. After graduating from Colorado State University I accepted a full time position with Kiewit Bridge and Marine in Portland Oregon on the Willamette River Bridge (Tilikum Crossing) as a field engineer. The amount of knowledge and different experiences that I had on the Willamette River Bridge have helped me tremendously during my career. After the Willamette River Bridge Project was complete I was sent from the west coast to the east coast to work on the Goethals Bridge, located in Elizabeth, New Jersey. This project was similar to the Willamette River Bridge, but on a larger scale. After spending 3.5 years on the Goethals Bridge Replacement I was relocated to the Dallas Fort Worth area to work on the DFW Connector, just North of the DFW airport.
