Project manager for Ames Construction in the Rocky Mountain Region

General Superintendent in charge of the planning and design for the main span lowering of the Gerald Desmond Bridge in Port of Long Beach, CA.

Project Director responsible for the completion of all construction and project close-out for SH121 and I635 interchange reconstruction project.

Responsible for the completion of all construction activities, ensuring that all operations are completed ahead of schedule and under budget. Construction operations include: Bridge Structures, Grading, Concrete Paving, Barrier and Flatwork, MOT, MSC Walls, Drainage, Utility relocates, Lighting and Signage.

Structures Discipline Manager responsible for all structures operations from the Drill Shafts to the Bridge Deck pours. Also responsible for Slipping SSTR Barrier Rail and self preforming all Flatwork.

Superstructure Manager for Kiewit working in the Dallas Fort Worth area on the new interchange at SH121 and I635. Managed the superstructure team that is responsible for setting the precast girders and pouring the bridge deck. Also managed procurement of PMs.

Worked as the Structures Design lead during the design process. Lead design task force meeting, coordinated with other disciplines, preformed construct ability review and managed design growth. The design included 16 bridges, 6 bridge widening and 2 bridge rehabilitations.

Worked on the replacement of the Goethals Bridge which spans the Arthur Kill River and will connect Elizabeth, New Jersey to Staten Island, New York. The existing bridge was built in the 1920s and was replaced by two cable stay bridges. My role for the first year on the Goethals bridge was to plan the erection of the mainspan structural steel and cable stays operations. I also managed the engineering and fabrication of all of the temporary construction devices used to build the cable stay section of the bridge. After the planning and procurement was complete I switched role to the superintendent over the cable stay crew that was responsible for the installation of the Freyssinet cable stay system.

Worked on the Willamette River in Portland Oregon for three years building the Tilikum Crossing. While working on the Tilikum Crossing I held a few different roles, from engineer of the Tower Footings to the superintendent of the Laborers and Finishers crews. As the laborer and finisher superintendent I was responsible for scheduling, cost management, safety and the quality of my crews. Other responsibilities on the bridge ranged from cable stay engineer, footing engineer, mass concrete and thermal control engineer.

As an Intern for Kiewit Bridge and Marine on the foundations crew of the Huey P. Long bridge widening project my responsibilities included material management, quantity takeoff, RFI's to the owner, updated productivity charts, quality control, updating weekly schedule, writng purchase requistions, pre-pour check list for concrete pours andcreating work packets.

As a laborer I was a member of the crew that was responsible for connecting the East Side CSO and the West Side CSO. The job entailed concrete cutting, excavation, rebar installation, installation of form work and pouring concrete.

The West Side Portland CSO Big Pipe Project in Portland, OR is a tunnel under the west side of the city that runs north and south along the river. As a laborer on the project i worked on the shaft excavation crew that built service shafts so that the Tunnel Boring Machine could be serviced.
