Set up, program, and operate Haas VF12, VF2, and VF4 vertical mills to produce a variety of production and custom parts for the company's products. Also attended Mastercam training but have not had much opportunity to become truly proficient since we have a full time programmer.

Set up, programmed, and operated a Hurco HBMX55i. The machine was newly installed and not functioning properly. Management would not acknowledge the problems with the machine but in spite of this, I managed to work around the problems and produce a variety of parts for the company's products. Also did a bit of manual machining while working there. Received a better offer from Wardjet and ended my frustrations.

CNC Machinist: Set up, program, and operate Haas VS3, VF11, VF5, and TM2 to produce a variety of small and large parts in support of EEW's various customers. Spent all of my employment there on night shift.

Started on day shift, but in order to improve production; I was asked to move to second shift. Performed numerous program edits and suggested fixture, tooling, and programming changes to improve tool life, finishes of certain features, and make the job run more reliably. Also deburred and reworked parts to customer specifications while running production. Changed jobs for a better opportunity.

CNC Machinist/Programmer responsible for programming, setting up, and operating one new, probe and tool setter equipped Haas DT1 vertical mill. Selected and ordered all necessary tooling and fixtures. Worked closely with design engineers to make parts for use in other work areas in the shop including inspection, molding, and thread rolling. Advised upper management concerning the best methods for machining and fixturing the primary product for the DT1. This company is a new start up and no actual production occurred while I was there. Changed jobs for a better opportunity with my former employer.

CNC Machinist for two different companies during this period. The first one laid off the entire second shift after I had been employed there for five weeks. The second one was a mold shop where I set up, operated, and programmed a Fanuc controlled Okuma-Howa VMC with an inoperative tool changer and a bad spindle. The owner and I decided to part ways after three weeks.

CNC Machinist/Operator utilizing horizontal and vertical milling machines on second shift to produce finished parts for medical and scientific instruments. Responsible for the set up and operation of a Fanuc controlled Doosan DB250C, two 4th axis equipped Haas VMC's and one Haas HMC all equipped with Renishaw probes and tool setters. Machined steel sub-assemblies for MRI machines and other related parts from aluminum and lead blanks. Laid off due to decreased workload.

CNC Machinist working in a temporary to permanent situation for a small company that is no longer in business. Set up and operated two old Fanuc controlled CNC lathes to produce small part for the company's products. Changed jobs to improve pay and benefits.

CNC Machinist/Operator utilizing horizontal and vertical machines on second shift to finish large forgings, castings, and welded assemblies. Set up and operated DeVleig CNC and manual HBM's, Okuma MCM-B and MCR-A gantry mills, and Haas HMC's. Maintained tooling and fixtures so production could continue in a timely manner. Responsible for the inspection and documentation of certain parts and training other operators. Changed jobs to work day shift closer to home.

CNC Programmer responsible for programming rubber mold components and creating prints using Unigraphics NX 3.0 software. Created 2D and 3D programs from solid models and prints for use by machinists in the shop. Editited programs as needed for tooling changes, machine changes, or customer revisions. Also ran machines when all programming was completed. Laid off due to declining workload and the eventual closing of the company.
