Pelican Coast Events is an endurance sports events business developed in Orange County California. Currently, the company hosts 3 events a year. In 2018, Pelican sold off a large majority of it's assets to divest the owners and to focus on the events that produced the highest levels of growth potential.Pelican Coast Events was the largest operator of triathlons in Orange County. My responsibilities ranged from Race Director to Director of Sponsorship for the Events.Race Director responsibilities required coordinating all safety and logistic requirements with all local and state municipalities as well as developing and integrating these plans with sheriff, highway patrol, lifeguards, and fire department for 2 days of expo and race day to produce a successful and safe race experience for our athletes, volunteers, sponsors, media, and staff. OC triathlon and Pacific Coast Triathlon required us closing major roads and neighborhoods in Lake Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Highway 1, which requires excellent communication and coordination between Pelican Coast Events staff and all of these organizations and government organizations.Director of Major SponsorshipsOver the 4 years of operation, we were able to double sponsorship revenue and held a 100% retention of sponsors over the life of operating the races before selling them in early 2018. OC Swim Series: Still Own these 3 races.Established in 2015, we have been able to raise participation 200 % and retained sponsors that were relevant to the events that we retained.

P5 Racing and Optimal Performance Training Center were established to give individuals training, coaching, and a team framework to develop competitive skills in endurance sports by eventing events on a global basis. P5 Racing became on of the premier amateur teams in Ironman Triathlons finishing in the Top 3 over 15 times in Ironman Racing Events in the USA, Canada, and Europe.While heading up P5 Racing as a Team Director and Sponsorship Director, we were the 1st amateur team in the country to generate enough sponsor support that we were able to purchase for cash a team RV / bus ($180,000), team van ($30,000), bike and equipment trailer ($16,000) plus full equipment sponsorship in a 3 year contract worth over $250,000.00. As the Head Coach, trained 139 athletes to complete and ironman with 139 athletes completing that goal. I had a 100% success rate. If an athlete did more than one ironman, my coaching and training was able to get that athlete to PR over 80% of the time when doing more than one ironman. Developed and Coordinated 4 to 8 training camps and team racing events every year that involved staffing, logistics, and travel planning around the world. Successfully never having an athlete get hurt or failing to complete the objective.As an athlete, I came in 7th and 10th in consecutive years at the Ironman World Championships, as well as, raced at World Championships at Olympic and 70.3 distances. Over my 30 years of racing, I have won over 50 races and held several regional and national titles in triathlons. I still compete and have retained relationship with my sponsors going back over 15 years.My personal passion and drive is creating the vision and plan for people to see and be successful in life and sports.

After selling my company, Stassi Cosmetics (SPF to-Go), I established myself as a licensed real estate and mortgage advisor. Using my previous years of experience working on Wall Street, I advised and strategically planned real estate activities to meet the needs of clients. Over those 5 years, I executed over $100 million dollars in real estate transactions.

In late 2000, I developed Stassi Cosmetics was an unique cosmetic company that was designed around their product SPF To Go. SPF To Go was a sunscreen designed around single serving applications for active individuals and people with high exposure to the sun. Before expanding into other products, the company was purchased for it's unique applications and formulas. Over the 5 years myself and my team took Stassi from a concept to a company generating over $1MM in sales and in over 30,000 locations nationwide, including Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, Safeway and other strong retailers and grocery chains. Job Responsibilites:- Oversight of all operations of the company including product development, marketing/ advertising , finance and personnel.- Developed product launches from concept to market penetration.- Worked with creative teams at advertising agencies and public relations firms in NYC to communicate effective branding and product implementation strategy.

Historically, the bank was an asset based lender and was trying to evaluate the viability of transitioning to a start-up / silicon valley bank lender of debt and equity.
