Career Summary: Over 15 years of heavy civil construction and construction leadership within the Department of Energy (DOE), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) environment and the private sector. I also worked on the Katrina hurricane temporary housing contracts for FEMA. I have performed key responsibilities successfully on two major bridge projects over the Arkansas and White River in Arkansas and other marquee projects through out the United States. I have a strong background in soils, material testing, concrete and reinforcing steel and am very familiar with ACI and CRSI codes as well as ASTM standards associated with this work. I have been the lead in the purchase of 3 concrete batch plants and overseen the setup of them upon delivery, concrete pump trucks, fuel trucks, etc.. I was the lead on a successful mock blast wall construction, to obtain USACE approval to utilize Self Consolidating Concrete in the blast walls at the Pueblo Chemical Agent Depot - Chemical Agent Disposal Facility. I have over 10 years experience in remediation of hazardous waste which includes slurry walls, synthetic liners, clay liners, leachate systems, gas extraction systems, sheet piling installation/removal, dredging operations and landfill construction/ operations and demolition of chemical agent production facilities and radioactive material burial grounds.
