As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Psychology as well as a Certified Mental Health Disaster Responder, Michael serves as a Clinical Account Manager II for Anthem, Inc. with the Employee Assistance Program. Michael is responsible for activities associated with both Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) providing useful tools and integrated support. Michael partners with Anthem’s medical team, underwriters, operations team, IT team, marketing team, and training team to deliver the most robust clinical services to national and local accounts in states of Georgia and Kentucky. Michael is very strategic with his goal-setting in regards to understanding customers’ priorities, cultures, and expectations. Michael believes that research is key in approaching customers. It's more than just delivering an EAP program. It's how well you can connect with the people you are trying to help by communicating your understanding of their needs back to them.
