Settled into the Atlanta area where it became clear we would be caring for my mother in law. Did locums hospitalist work, on-line video medicine, and consulting, until I joined JenCare for a rich year of providing in depth primary care to medically complex seniors.

Recruited to take over directorship of tertiary, two hospital ~ 17 provider (all physicians were internists except me) Hospital Medicine program. Started as line Hospitalist, quickly assumed reins of leadership. During tenure improved metrics, relations with PCPs and other departments as well as team morale and was successful in recruiting. Had to leave.

Started and built rural Hospitalist program earning 5-star award From PRC for physician satisfaction, lowered average length of stay by nearly one day and increased patient satisfaction.

Through the portal of my own practice, which I sold to what was initially a small, rural Community Health Clinic with one part time Satellite, I clinically oversaw the introduction of indigent care into a large, rural New Mexico county. We grew in that time to 7 clinics, tripled the number of providers and by the time I left to build the area's first.
