For the largest state-wide business organization in the country, managed the department responsible for increasing business involvement in state and federal legislative and political activities.

Served as chief adviser and top staff assistant to Members of Congress from Michigan and West Virginia. During this period of time, also managed 5 successful re-election campaigns.
