I began my career at Molex as a contractor fresh out of the University of Iowa. The contract was for 3 months and I wish I had a video of the look on my parents face when I told them I signed a 12-month lease 2 months into working at Molex. Safe to say it has worked out so far...During my 3 months as a contractor, I had the good fortune of having a manager that introduced me to a variety of leaders within Molex departments including logistics, inside sales, product management, distribution among others -- all to see if there was mutual interest between the department and myself to extend my professional career...and to make good on that 12-month lease I just signed. Inside sales was the best match and I began working with our distribution accounts. I look back at those days very fondly -- the inside sales team I was a part of to the distributors who would call to make changes to orders (before they could do it themselves online). Inside sales was a great inroad to the rest of Molex and I have been fortunate to have some great roles with great managers and most importantly, working with great people. And since I began my role as a Regional Distribution Sales Manager, that network of great people has grown significantly. My goal is to be a respected contributor on a great team that helps enable customer's designs with the purpose of making society better. If you think back 10, 20, 30 years or more and see the impact technology has had on the quality of life, those innovations came from hard work, curiosity, a desire to improve, and of course collaboration. I am glad to be at the forefront of what's coming next, and glad to be doing it with our distribution partners.Professionally speaking, I would say it more like this: I am an experienced sales and marketing professional with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. Skilled in Product Marketing, Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Brand Development, Product Launch, Customer Service, Sales Intelligence, Sales Enablement and Distribution Sales.
