At the International Technical Centre of the Glass Business Unit (Turnover around 5 billion €, 35 float/solar glass plants in 14 countries); reporting to Head of Technical Assistance • In-house Consulting : Supporting and advising plant management regarding organizational and technical improvements based on an audit, action plan definition • Monitoring and improving production line yields through benchmark, problem-solving activities related to process and product quality level and best-practices implementation• Implementing the use of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (as TPM, FMEA...)• Assisting the launching of float glass production lines (Poland, Brazil, China)• Supervising cutting line suppliers: from negotiations (6-7 mio. €) to final acceptance.

In a production plant for wooden windows (CNC machining, coating, mechanical assembly, chemical treatment - employees); reporting to plant Director, member of Management team• Organizing the curative maintenance and developing the preventive maintenance• Supervising a team of 17; planning material and human resources• Assuring continuity and safety of utilities (energy distribution network, dedusting...)• Animating the investment plan and technical modifications on equipment• Monitoring maintenance and capital expenditures (total yearly budget of 2,5 mio. €)• Supervising subcontractors, forming business connections and leading supplier negotiations • Piloting statutory actions to conform our site to national and European standards (i.e. ATEX)• Privileged interlocutor of the authorities (DRIRE, regional administration…)
