- Administrative lead for the royalty accounting in all of EMI's Masters Program deals, which includes liaising with internal owners and master clients.- Analyze royalty statement data to identify and correct accounting errors, recalculate and prepare new statements and post correcting financial transaction adjustments as necessary.- Work extensively with the Finance Department on reconciliations to ensure accounts properly reflect all financial activity, including correct opening and closing balances, recoupable costs, royalties generated and payments.- Prepare reports of royalty and financial activity data for Executive Management, Business Affairs and other departments in support of business initiatives and in response to client inquiries- Handle cleanup of copyright and royalty data converted as a part of EMI’s new system rollout, ensuring songs properly reflected EMI’s rights and would account correctly to songwriters and other payees- Integrally involved in reviewing and correcting statements for quarterly and semi-annual distribution cycles- Administrative point-of-contact for several key writers/accounts – help writers and clients understand their statements and ensure all of their questions are researched and corrected as appropriate
