Commander of a US Army Reserve Division that includes nine subordinate Brigades and 45 Battalions geographically dispersed across 25 States with an authorized strength of 4,113 Soldiers and 76 Department of Army Civilians. The Division Headquarters and its subordinate elements are arrayed in Direct Support to First US Army, an active duty 3-star Command. 20% of the organization is mobilized 365 days per year on a continuously rotating basis at multiple Mobilization and Force Generation Installations throughout the country. The organization provides Observer Controller/ Trainers and subject matter experts to conduct pre-mobilization exercises and post-mobilization training and employs exercise design teams to conduct Mission Command Staff Training; Responsible for the execution of an $18M annual operating budget and $55M of equipment.
