The second aspect of my role was the development of G1Xchange - the world's first thoroughbred share trading platform and equity market.The G1Xchange platform reduces processing periods, and give both buyers and sellers confidence that their transaction complies with all regulatory requirements.I was a key part of the development team and worked through high level strategic, functional, cultural, and compliance work flow planning and delivery during a build phase of 10-months.

I joined the start up thoroughbred racing media platform G1X.com.au in August 2015 and played a lead role in launching the platform and creating and delivering a highly engaging content strategy that shone like a beacon in a tired, traditional industry.From start up phase with no audience, G1X averaged over 200,000 unique users a month within 18 months, with over 5 million pages viewed. I was directly responsible for the production of video content which achieved over 30,000 hours of viewed content online. Examples of the video content I created, produced, and delivered can be seen below.My responsibilities included:- Creative direction across all digital content- Production and direction of visual content- Content strategy between G1X and partner sites G1Xchange.com and Lovethepunt.com.au

TheShark.com.au was a racing form analysis website developed to provide high quality, professional racing form analysis and commentary/opinion to a digital audience. TheShark.com.au registered member base grew from less than 100 initial subscribers to over 6000 within an 18-month period, with a combined database in excess of over 30,000 users.As well as seven years of successful results and positive growth, TheShark.com.au also developed a number of young media professionals with former employees taking up positions at Racing Victoria, Racing.com, South China Morning Post, and international wagering syndicates.My roles included: - Digital and marketing strategy - Digital and marketing management- Sponsorship management- Content provision- Staff management - Mentoring and staff development

TVN was a major television broadcaster servicing Victorian and New South Wales thoroughbred racing to a national audience.Initially an inaugural member of racing form and lifestyle program Get On in 2011, I began race day hosting and on air form analysis in 2011 until the network wound up in March 2015. With extensive live on air experience across major race days and events, I worked solo and as part of an on air team in a live broadcast environment.My roles included:- Live on air hosting and presentation- Program production.

The Age is a major Australian masthead of international renown based in Melbourne.During my time at The Age I was a significant part of the racing desk and produced a number of highly commended feature articles published. Over those ten years I covered nine consecutive Melbourne Spring Racing Carnivals as well as major international racing events at Royal Ascot, Newmarket Festival, and the York Ebor meeting in the UK.My roles included: - News reporting- Feature writing- Form guide compilation- Video production - Digital management- Columnist (VFL, education, sporting life)
