I have almost 30 years of construction experience. I advanced quickly. From greenhorn to foreman in just 4 years. Worked my up to superintendent and project manager. Until 6 months ago I would work in any of those 3 capacities depending on my employers need at the time. I learned how to read plans when I was around 10 years old. My fascination with them led my contractor father to teach me at such a young age. About 4 months ago(December 21) I had emergency spine surgery that has left me paralyzed at least for the time being.For now I would need either an office or remote position. My salary is negotiable to a point as I will be new to full time office life. Those numbers I will discuss one on one depending on the position. I am willing to start soon for the right opportunity but I’m not just looking for a job. I’ll wait for the right company where I feel that I can eventually retire from. UPDATE 07/14/2023I have estimated for around 20 years and have decided to expand beyond the Northern California area. I estimate all types of concrete from patios to large commercial jobs. I can also put together scheduling if needed, preferably companies that have less than 50 employees. All work is remote, unless you want to pay my travel, lodging, meals, etc. as well as special pricing. If I’m on-site on in your office I can’t do work for other clients.I will attend pre-con meetings virtually as needed. Update 11-23-2023For some time I've been doing my research and testing for my ultimate project and finally it's come together. I am the owner and CEO of SHAW PRIVATE RESERVE llc. I will be creating and selling only the finest spirits. From our SHAW SHINE which will be in stores early next year, to our bourbons and whiskeys, which are still in development, SPR is going to become your must have adult beverage. My new skills are in fermentation and distilling, direct sales, marketing, management, taking a concept and turning it into a successful company, a flavor into a spirit and most important, I found a way to overcome my handicap and create a business I'll be able to pass on to future generations.
