Checked out and verified the missile systems central control unit or launcher, either in shop environment or during contact missions. Awarded the Army Achievement Medal. Security Clearance: SECRET.HHC, 40th Infantry Division (M) - 91B 20 MOS Qualified Medical Specialist. As NCOIC, I re-established, developed, and staffed the Medical Section for the Division HQ Company. Administrative manager of health care delivery to approximately 500 service members. Twice received the Enlisted Trainer's Excellence Award for effectively training hundreds of troops during field exercises.

Azuza, Ca (Formerly Gencorp Aerojet)

Worked in systems integration as a member of the sensor assembly team for the EOS/ METSAT, Advanced Microwave Sounding Unit (AMSU), on the DOD/NOAA-15/Tiros-N satellites (8). Managed wire bundling/tying concerns, cable/wave guide routing and installation, blanket installation, assembly problems, testing (thermal and vibration), and QA/NASA issues. Gathered and tracked pertinent data, made recommendations for solutions, then communicated completed findings in meetings, wrote assembly orders, or created memorandum. Had overall responsibility for the coordination of sensor/sub assembly shipment, while developing, then managing the team, and training the engineers and technicians from various departments. Addressed sub assembly/spacecraft integration, storage, and shipping concerns. Security Clearance: SECRET

Long Beach, Ca (Formerly Mcdonnell Douglas)

Manager-C-17 Final Assembly ToolingManaged all assembly tooling, support machine shop, electronic test shop, and welding shop for the Major Join, Final Line, and Ramp areas, on the C-17 Globemaster III Program. This included all line support activity and interface. Planned and organized work for 20-100+ employees. A Corrective Action Board member. Managed implementation of Just In Time (JIT) and the use of composite building materials. Monitored budget (time and material) of $2-$10 million. Also supported the C-17 Flight Test Program, at Edwards AFB. Other positions include; Staff Specialist, Section Manager (Center Fuselage Tooling), Manufacturing Plant Engineer (Macon, GA), Manufacturing Project Engineer (C-17 Aft Section), Tool Liaison (Plant wide), and Jig & Fixture Builder. Recipient of Employee Recognition Award.
