Key Responsibilities• A contract/consulting role to implement/oversee the outsourcing of financial accounting functions of the QHRB and to establish a Shared Services Centre at Queensland Racing.• Develop and formulate a Shared Services Centre and Service Level Agreement between QR , QHRB and QGRB and present to Board of Racing for approval.• Responsible for financial control, administration and management of Board financials and treasury functions.• Responsible for the preparation of annual financial report in accordance with the Qld government financial reporting standards.• Liaise with Qld Auditor General’s department in conducting annual audit of financial statements. • Provide commercial advice and support to the CEO and Board of Directors.
