I own the design, deployment, operations of the global terrestrial network and own operations of the satellite network. I am the primary point of contact for all carrier transport, collocation facilities and contract negotiations. I create the specifications and work with the EIS (Enterprise Information Systems) division to develop the OSS/BSS (operational Support System/Business Support System) for the Starlink services. I create and maintain the network requirements and work closely with the FPGA, silicon and software teams to develop the ground and satellite network protocols, routing strategies, data plane and management plane implementations.

I was responsible for the procurement, assets, people and operations of 35 data centers and network PoP’s worldwide. Projects included budget/forecast planning, asset tracking, implementing electronic procurement, implementing work tracking systems, improving data center power efficiency, optimizing deployment of new services, optimizing maintenance, building automation tools, evaluation of new hardware/software and working with various teams on architectural decisions to help implement their software within our data centers. My responsibilities included hiring, technical growth and overall health of the team.

Coretec was a fiber-to-the-business CLEC in Bloomington, Illinois. I was responsible for every aspect of the customer’s experience including marketing, sales, sales engineering, installation, design and operation of the services. In 2013, I negotiated the sale of my company to Pavlov Media. In addition to managing the transition to the new owner, I remained as a consultant until my move to Riot Games.

iTV-3 is the new name of BitWise Communications after it was sold to Family Video. I was responsible for all network operations, design, training programs, sales engineering and technical standards. Projects included commercial and residential fiber to the home deployments with phone, Internet and video.

BitWise Communications was a CLEC in Peoria, Illinois, spanning over 330 cities. BitWise Communications served several national dial-up companies (EarthLink, AOL, etc) and over 1,500 businesses with phone and Internet services. I was responsible for all sales, marketing, network operations, network design, training programs, technical standards and general management. Our main product was our fiber to the business/home deployment in Peoria, Pekin and Morton, Illinois. I also developed our in-house operational and billing support system that handled account tracking, automated billing, provisioning, dispatching, support ticketing, inventory management and network management. In 2009, I negotiated the sale of my company to Family Video.
