I am an extremely dedicated, hard-working individual who is seeking a fulfilling and challenging career in the tech industry. While the bulk of my employment history lies in the service industry, I have been involved with computers and programming from an early age. Most of my training has been in C and C++, and I possess experience with many other popular programming languages. Not only can I get the job done, but I also strive to maintain a positive, pleasant attitude at all times. In technology-related fields, there are most often those with either strong technical knowledge or strong customer-service skills. I can offer you the best of both worlds. Originally drawn to computers and programming at an early age because of a natural affinity for problem-solving combined with a need to know how things work, I attained a B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Akron. Simultaneously, I'd begun exploring my passion for music and musical performance. This led me away from computers and into customer-service-based positions where I became adept at communicating with people in positive, high-stress situations. Along the way, spending time in management positions and realizing how to more effectively motivate coworkers and build a team-oriented environment.
