I oversee and manage production of BET Networks’ original content, with responsibility for a $250M+ budget and lead a team that manages end to end production operations for a wide variety of projects that span scripted, unscripted, specials, news & docs. I identify production needs to develop schedules, budgets, planning and staffing. And I am responsible for cultivating and working with and all network production relationships.Additionally:• I work closely with leadership on financial reporting, long term projections, monthly cost forecasts, cash, and amortization planning• Also, I create overall production plans for the network on macro and micro levels, leading to on-time delivery of content and creation of content across multiple channels• I lead a team that tracks and manages all shows in production ensuring all deadlines are met• Moreover, I drive decisions within cross-functional teams and implements strategic planning initiatives, which leads to 30 new shows produced per year• I collaborate with the internal and external creative teams on vision and execution of the shows

Greater New York City Area

I created and managed budgets of $200M for live events and network specials. Also, I initiated Long-Term Planning meetings with departments including programming, operations, marketing, communications, sales, and finance, to discuss the organizational structure, shows, and channel navigation. I assessed any needs and facilitated internal support for Creative Services, Digital, Finance, FP&A, Legal, Marketing, PR, Sales, and Special Events.A few achievements include:• I collaborated closely with Business Affairs/Legal to develop value-added contracts and fee structures for the overall studio and shows• I developed In-House and Third-Party Production workflows, which ensures effective management, seamless production and delivery• I managed and provided oversight for technical operations and post-production on all shows produced within the division, including 106 and Park, Bobby Jones Gospel, Rap City, and music programming

Greater Los Angeles Area & Greater Atlanta Area

I created, oversaw, and managed BET Studios in Atlanta, GA. The Studio produced scripted, unscripted, tentpoles, talk shows, game/competition shows with a budget of approx. 150M per year, with the team producing over 500+ hours of TV. I negotiated deals for stages, including multiple shows shooting on one lot with support spaces.Achievements include:• Also, I negotiated and maintain crew relationships, including unions (IATSE, DGA, WGA, SAG-AFTRA & Teamsters)• I supervised all production/editorial staff, including: management, technical, production, post, and accounting• I oversaw proper adherence to all Union guidelines, video, still, and music clearances
