Oversees Element's more than 5,000 units in various stages of renovation, as well as managing Element’s acquisition and disposition processes.• Element focuses on value-add workforce housing opportunities that generate returns via near term cash flow, physical repositioning and market growth.

• Led the transactions team for all acquisitions and dispositions nationally, covering eight states.• Completed 20 acquisitions between 11 separate markets totaling ~$700 million.• Responsible for debt placement at acquisition, closing nearly $500 million in loans.• Doubled the size of the portfolio while purchasing well-located properties with strong current returns to investors.• Interfaced with current and potential investors to raise money for future acquisitions.• Developed renovation budgets with national construction team.

• Charged with managing overall acquisition process from property identification, initial proforma and market analysis, to due diligence, debt procurement and closing.• Tracked portfolio performance, as well as market activity in target markets of Washington, Oregon, Utah and Northern California.• As acquisitions velocity slowed during the recession, focused on completing refinances and loan extensions/modifications with existing lenders, and increased oversight of property operations focusing on lease rates and revenue creation, operating expense reduction, and annual budgets.• Prepared financial analysis for institutional investors and commercial lenders, and was responsible for quarterly investment and operating updates to equity investors.
