Current- Trained over 100 teachers and coaches through more than 50 training sessions, focusing on the integration of Standards for Mathematical Practice and innovative pedagogical strategies, including formative assessment and effective discourse methods using the MRWC curriculum.- Enhanced CBU's education program by providing a pathway for mathematics majors to receive training and a MRWC teaching certificate, effectively integrating with our local educational community.- Developed and authored a comprehensive problem bank of assessment items for teachers to utilize in their courses, enhancing the quality and consistency of formative assessments.- Preliminary results from the MRWC initiative indicate a significant increase in student performance compared to control groups, with notable improvements among groups traditionally underrepresented in STEM fields.- Currently working to extend these successful methodologies to additional grade levels through the MCM initiative.
