I produce the weekend evening newscasts and the 6pm newscast three days a week.

Stack and write the Sunday morning newscast on WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The newscast is on the air for an hour. I write the stories, teases and everything else. I edit video when needed. I schedule guests to appear on the morning show. I also booth the newscast every week. In addition, I am listening to newsroom scanners for possible news events happening in the Baton Rouge area.

I edit video and help write scripts for the weekday morning newscast on WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The newscast is on the air for two and a half hours. I also produce and booth the daily cut in segments during the national morning show.

I managed a team of about 15 reporters, seven anchors and two news producers. Together, we put on two weekly newscasts with a focus on important news events on LSU's campus. I helped reporters manage sources and develop news stories. I also helped segment anchors and producers develop news content.

I attended daily story meetings and shadowed night side producers and reporters as they developed news coverage for the Dallas, Texas area. I shadowed reporters and photographers out in the field as well as producers in the newsroom. I also made calls and listened to scanners at the assignment desk. I shadowed and helped write content for the FOX 4 news website. I wrote and edited my own television packages.

I shadowed producers in the newsroom and helped write scripts for evening newscast in Lafayette, Louisiana. I also attended story meetings with the newsroom staff.
