Mike joined Principal Life Insurance Company in 1997 as the Disability Income Regional Vice President (DI RVP) covering the states of Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota and western Wisconsin. Mike focuses on disability planning for small and mid-size companies helping financial advisors solve their client’s disability planning needs. Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the Disability Insurance Industry with a focus on Comprehensive Disability Planning for Business Owners and Key Employees. Mike has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 1986. Mike is an 8-time Principal Life Recognition Circle qualifier and a member of the International DI Society. Mike graduated from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration: Marketing and Business Law. He lives in Eden Prairie, MN with two of his three daughters and his 115 lb. Alaskan Malamute named Dakota (aka “The Wolf”) and the new addition to the family “Ollie” a miniature Sheepadoodle.
