My summers were dedicated to hands-on work at construction sites and material preparation, giving me a strong foundation in the industry.After high school, I ventured into entrepreneurship, specializing in trucking and excavation services. My team and I designed and executed a variety of projects, including septic systems and foundation excavations. When faced with the economic downturn in 2007, I seized the opportunity to join the International Union of Operating Engineers. This career transition allowed me to continually expand my skill set, transforming me from an excavation expert into a highly proficient crane operator.Throughout my career, I've been involved in every aspect of building construction, from driving pile foundations to pouring walls, steel erection, and facade installations. I've had the privilege of assembling prestigious art installations at Princeton University, valued at over $100 million. I've also contributed to major projects, including the dismantling of the Goethals Bridge and the decommissioning of the nuclear reactor at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generation Station.Now, I'm eager to leverage my extensive skills, knowledge, and experience to transition into a leadership role within the construction industry.
