Collects and manages data pertaining to military warfighting function (WfF) procedures, decisions, and orders during computer assisted military training exercises for Army Brigades, Divisions, and Corps. Works closely with military WfF Observer Controllers/Trainers (OC/Ts); collects computer generated data, observer Controller/ Trainer observations, analyzes data, and prepares visual products for After Action Reviews in coordination with military WfF counterparts. Develops and produces graphic products for After Action Reviews, Mission Command Training (MCT) Workshops, In-Progress Reviews, and briefings. When required, assists in exercise design, scenario development, weekly pre-exercise planning meetings, site surveys, and exercise planning conferences. Develops exercise plans, coordinates internal and external resources, monitors planning progress and timelines, and prepares contract deliverables items. During exercises supervise 14 military and over 160 contract personnel in replicating an Army/JTF operations center and subordinate command posts. Responsible for replicating realistic enemy activity and Host Nation Security Force (HNSF) interaction with rotational training units in mission readiness exercises. Prepares OPFOR division to replicate the Hybrid Threat in the conduct of future Full Spectrum Exercises.

Supervises four Coach/Mentor/Trainers in their daily mission. Provides advanced collective warfighting training for senior level Commanders and Staffs at Division, Corps, and Army Service Component echelons. Served as Executive Officer for a 10-man Brigade Military Transition Team for an Iraqi Brigade consisting of 5,200 soldiers. Coaches, teaches and mentors the Iraqi military leaders (Executive Officer, Personnel Officer, Public Affairs Officer) on all aspects of combat, counter-insurgency, stability and reconstruction operations and unit effectiveness. Supervise the training of over 600 Guardsment located throughout northeastern Tennessee in all aspects of cavalry operations. Assists the squadron as it transforms to a Brigade Combat Team Armored Reconnaissance Squadron. Monitors all training and training support events in the squadron. Provides feedback to the Battalion Commander on the training and overall readiness. Provides post-mobilization training to deploying Reserve Component units. Supervise the observe controller certification program.

Fire Support Coordinator for the commander of a Special Operatoins Aviation Task Force with the mission of no-notice joint special operations forces / special mission unit operations worldwide in support of warfighting combatant commander directives. Responsibilities include coordination of attack helicopters, AC-130 gunships, close air support, naval gunfire, mortars and artillery in support of the Task Force Commander's scheme of maneuver. Provide liaison between the aviation battalion and support task force fire support elements and other government agencies. Coordinate for off post training and range utilization in support of pilot proficiency training. Responsible for supervising and training four enlisted fire support personnel and $300,000 of equipment.

Commander of a 105mm Airborne Artillery Firing Battery with the mission of immediate, worldwide deployment. Directly responsible to lead, train, motivate and care for five officers, 34 noncommissioned officers, and 80 enlisted soldiers. Provides artillery fires in direct support of an Infantry Battalion Task Force, often at danger close ranges. Accountable for six M119A1 howitzer sections, a fire direction center, a headquarters platoon, and a fire support platoon worth in excess of $10 million. Provides technical and tactical support to the Battalion Fire Support Officer. Responsible for coordinating and supervising the execution of mission, training, and support tasks directed by higher headquarters.

Team Leader/ Commander's representative to an airborne infantry battalion with the mission of worldwide deployment within 18 hours of notification. Plans and coordinates fire support assets available to the battalion, to include: field artillery, mortars, close air support, naval gunfire, and attack aviation. Coordinates staff actions between infantry and field artillery. Plans, coordinates, and executes rigorous combined arms live fire exercises involving danger close fires. Plans and disseminates fire support plans for tactical operations. Assists in developing and evaluating training for infantry battalion mortar teams. Responsible for the training, welfare, and readiness of three officers and 30 enlisted personnel.

Battalion Operations Officer in a Multiple Launch Rocket System battalion in the 2d Infantry Division, forward deployed in the Republic of Korea. Responsible for the completion to standard all battalion level missions. Ensures that subordinate units are training to standard and are prepared to transition to war. Schedules all small arms and rocket live fire operations, and manages land requests for field training exercises. Updates the standard operating procedures, mission essential tasks, and war plans as necessary. Mentors all other operations and intelligence staff officers and noncommissioned officers in the completion of their duties.

Principle adviser to the commander on all general supply and fiscal budgeting matters pertaining to a direct support airborne field artillery battalion with the mission of worldwide deployment within 18 hours of notification. Responsible for organizing the battalion administration and logistics center to provide responsive combat service and support to the battalion. Forecasts future budget and material needs and assembles information accurately depicting the material readiness of the battalion. Responsible for meeting all logistics requirements necessary to keep the battalion operational and effectively trained. Supervises the timeliness and accuracy of all battalion reports of survey.
