I’m obsessed with making processes better, so they’re more efficient, reduce costs and so the company achieves its targets more quickly.Here are some of my career highlights:• Initiated a new cost-saving process, renegotiating contracts with suppliers and arranging reimbursements where my employer had overpaid on legacy contracts, securing £236,000 in credit returns.• Wrote a training programme for our new finance and purchase order platforms. This included group and individual training sessions, with a rotating schedule of tasks to give each team member experience in all processes.• Reduced write-off stock from over £2000 per week to £500 per week.• Increased team efficiency by 25%, with processed returns rising from 800 to over 1000 per day.But designing and implementing new processes is only half the story. It’s just as important to guide people in running those processes well and instilling in them an intrinsic desire to achieve great things in their work. I have been twice promoted into management roles because of my interpersonal skills and the rapport they enable me to build with others. I am always looking for way to help a service company reach new levels of performance and employee satisfaction.
