As an Aviation Crew Controller, you play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of airline and aviation services. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage the deployment of pilots, and cabin crew members to meet the operational requirements and schedules of the airline or aviation organization. Crew controllers will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, effective communication, and have the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.Key Responsibilities:Crew Scheduling: Create and maintain crew schedules, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. Assign flight crews to specific routes, flights, and aircraft.Crew Coordination: Coordinate with various departments, including flight operations, ground services, and maintenance, to ensure the smooth deployment and rotation of flight crews.Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on aviation regulations and labor laws related to crew duty time and rest requirements, and ensure schedules comply with these regulations.Emergency Response: Develop contingency plans for unexpected disruptions, such as weather delays or crew member availability issues, and make real-time adjustments to schedules when necessary.Communication: Maintain constant communication with flight crews, providing them with updated information regarding duty assignments, flight changes, and any other relevant details.Problem Resolution: Address crew member concerns, such as scheduling conflicts or personal time-off requests, and find suitable solutions that meet both operational and individual needs.Reporting: Generate reports and analyze crew performance, scheduling efficiency, and other relevant metrics to support data-driven decision-making.Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all crew operations comply with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
