Especially following the 2019 collapse of Thomas Cook.• Capacity forecasting and scenario planning• Forming each season’s product department plan• Tracking trading performance in line with seasonal & 5-year plan.• Reviewing & improving MI reporting, for clear visibility on performance versus KPIs.• Managing the level of commitment for both financial value and beds to seats ratio.• UK account manager for the other TUI Group markets, with the main focus to ensure in-house accommodations deliver to expectations and future projects support growth plans.• Various projects mostly centred around optimising the performance of TUI Concept Hotels, and key destinations where we have high volume of customers.

Managing a reservations & yield team to provide operational support and ensuring customers have outstanding holidays. Yield - responsible for optimising the beds available to sell, to ensure customer were offered the broadest range of holidays, in a commercially viable way. Key tasks included, managing a team responsible for: Costs and expenditure in all bed management to achieve the load factor target across destinations in 9 countries.Negotiating stop sales and special offers with suppliers, reducing release dates and obtaining extra allocation at the best rates, whilst ensuring that quality is optimised.Working with source market commercial and purchasing departments to improve performance on any difficult trading dates.The process of confirming room bookings with accommodation suppliers.Providing regular reports and analysis on the performance of the reservations team, yield management and other key performance indicators.Managing overbookings, getting bookings reinstated or finding a comparable solution for the customer.Managing queries and issues from resort staff, local suppliers and our UK and Ireland-based teams to ensure customer requests and issues are resolved as quickly as possible.Developing processes and procedures to improve efficiency.Reviewing and delivering training material to resort staff and office team at the start of seasons.
