To summarise myself, I have a keen interest for writing and a passion for History. I have worked for the NHS as administrative support staff for seven years and in which time I have studied for and gained two degrees in History & Archaeology and Egyptology respectively. During my time at University I achieved a first for my undergraduate dissertation and also recieved the Peter Robinson Prize for excellence in Archaeology. I have thus gained skills in writing, data entry and administrative duties. However, I am a keen learner and have a drive to accomplish any task to the best of my ability with a knack to adapt to unexpected variables and challenges. My interests can be summarised into one word: Nerd. I am a gaming fanatic, a movie fan and an avid Dungeons & Dragons player. I am easy-going, can get along with anyone and I have a cheesy joke ready for any and all occasions. I enjoy creative writing and playing games with my friends in my spare time. I am also currently a volunteer for English Heritage at Beeston Castle in Taporley, near Chester. I am a Roundhouse Explainer, explaining and demonstrating Bronze Age technology and living in a reconstruction of a roundhouse on-site. I am looking for a job where I can use my skills and experience to challenge myself, further my own career and have fun doing it.
