Wetlands Scientist
CurrentAs a Wetlands Scientist and Registered Soil Scientist, I conduct field delineations of inland and coastal resource areas and assist in permitting for a variety of development, land conservation, infrastructure, and climate resiliency projects for private and municipal clients throughout southern New England. Recent ecological restoration projects have focused on: natural resource assessments and recommendations for dam removals, improved road-stream crossings; cranberry bog restoration to wetlands; hydrologic and geomorphic assessments of fluvial systems; and created wetlands for compensatory mitigation. I lead and support the development of "decision tools," planning documents, and GIS products related to inland and coastal watershed management, climate resiliency/vulnerability, sustainable (ie, non-lethal) strategies for beaver management, and evaluating municipal stormwater infrastructure for green infrastructure opportunities.
