What will happen now.........As it is now public knowledge, I have 'resigned' as Technical Director for Global Boiler Aalborg (HQ in Svenstrup, Denmark) - and a lot of people are asking will you now start growing flowers in your garden, instead of the weed there caused by your long working hours in the company.........No, - I can say for sure......... my new role as CTO for the whole Global Boiler group of companies may seem as a retirement plan, but it is not........ at least not now and the next coming years.Since Global Boiler was formed in 2011 by three 'almost' middle aged guys, it has grown into a group of so far three companies, location in three continents - employing soon over 150 persons on the permanent payroll; and still plans for future growth.So it is still long hours of dedicated work, - but in a different way, - not lead by the 'office hours' in Denmark where I recide, but more to the needs of our Global network with employees and not least clients working in most time-zones of the world. They all need support here and now when projects are ongoing or problems develop.Further it is the plan that the 'new' (to be read as OLD) :-) leaderteam of CEO, CFO and I as CTO operating from separate office in Støvring, Denmark - shall also lead the development into new markets and products to make Global Boiler Aalborg as a group even stronger in the future. Also, hereby allowing the new team of MD's in our group to focus on the daily business and development of each individual branch accordingly.I am proud to be a part of this team and future development too, and hope that when retirement comes to me in some years, and for sure it will; - that a 'new' strong leader then can take over for me ......... should I then decide to attend more to garden work :-)
