Cerner Integration Architect

• Driving the implementation and managing the project at a detailed level, incorporating both the technical components and new equipment for functional application• Ensuring the development of a successful test plan, organize all cutover steps, and go-live activities including command center operations• Advocating on behalf of client customers in a manner that reflects the needs of Asquam• Mentoring, education, and providing knowledge transfer opportunities for Asquam’s Integration Architect• Collaborating closely and driving results with all IT analysts, IT managers, Directors, vendors, and team members to ensure a timely and successful implementation

• Administer and support the HIE - Cerner’s Clinical Exchange Platform (CEP), the application implemented for Shriners Physician Portal and Health Information Exchange (HIE). Responsible for application performance, upgrades, testing, troubleshooting and overall system maintenance. Will serve as primary point of contact for HIE customers including HIM and Physician Liaisons. Assist with configurations and connectivity with outside entities including physician offices, affiliate hospitals and CommonWell.• Administer and support the Patient Portal – Cerner’s HealtheLife Patient Portal. Works with Medical Affairs and hospitals to support the patient portal and associated Cerner Millennium electronic medical record applications/functionality that impact/are impacted by the patient portal. Respond to help desk tickets, testing upgrades and enhancements, troubleshoots problems, and provides technical expertise. • Administer and support Cerner Direct Messaging and associated applications. This includes maintaining Direct Email address list for Shriners Hospitals for Children to include updating, cleaning and reviewing email addresses. • Assist with training for new staff.• Create, maintain and distribute proper training manuals, guides and reference documentation as necessary.• Evaluate, implement and communicate Interoperability and HealtheLife updates to SHC stakeholders• Primary liaison to troubleshoot and field questions related to the HIE, Patient Portal and Cerner Direct.• Coordinate with system vendors/developers and Cerner for issue escalation and system updates. • Develop detailed testing scripts with Medical Affairs and pertinent users to ensure data integrity and seamless impacts to the organization. • Assist with new EMR projects including coordinating the design, development and implementation of authorized projects.• Perform evaluation of internal resources needed when upgrades or new functionality is available or requested.

• Worked to optimize the HealtheLife Patient Portal to meet Meaningful Use and MACRA requirements • Completed the build, maintenance, training material, and troubleshooting of the Patient Portal• Collaborated with clinical and non-clinical staff to enhance patient satisfaction through usage of the patient portal• Strengthened the team by taking on eRx build/maintenance, testing events, and troubleshooting direct messaging

An Integration Architect is responsible for the implementation, support and/or upgrade of Cerner solutions at client (internal or external) sites that represent integrated projects or at multiple Cerner engagements. The Integration Architect coordinates design, system validation, implementation, and upgrade activities across solutions and venues of care.

•Investigates, analyzes, and provides comprehensive solutions for service requests by using applicable monitoring and troubleshooting tools.•Responsible for thorough documentation related to investigation and issue resolution.•Ability to prioritize and manage work queue.•Provides troubleshooting support and knowledge transfer for associates.•Maintains awareness of current solution functionality and its relationship to solution specific database tables.•Adheres to client access, PECA, change control processes, client notification policies, and procedures.•Promotes, maintains, and utilizes knowledge transfer forums.•Provide on-call support and pager rotation, as applicable.•Performs other responsibilities as needed.•Works in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures.
