Managed the start-up of a new compliance advice desk for the Government and Public Services (GPS) practice of 20 thousand practitioners. We provided compliance guidance and worked collaboratively with other stakeholders in the practice and US Deloitte firm including Talent, IT Services, Expense Compliance, National Compliance, Political Activity Compliance, GPS Finance, GPS Business Systems and others to resolve issues, and escalated potential systemic issues and their resolution to leadership.

Led a team of six in support of a Federal civilian agency by helping conduct program assessments and financial grant monitoring oversight functions. My team was instrumental in developing scorecards with key information regarding monitoring progress and deliverable quality, which led to the Department in meeting its grant monitoring oversight goals.This included developing a framework for program assessments and training staff on its methodology and tools. The Deloitte team also met with program office leads to collect and analyze data, in order to develop reports with recommended actions. On the financial monitoring side, Deloitte helped monitor grant financial metrics and also supported a quarterly review of each program office’s monitoring progress, as well as a quality review of monitoring deliverables.
