Dr Michael Spann is a researcher and practitioner in the areas of international developmentand community development, with experience working on complex challenges with diverse stakeholders. He is comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders from government officials and corporate executives to subsistence agriculturalists and villagers. Michael has worked on a number of projects on governance and community development with key clients and donors including The University of Queensland International Development, Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), The Government of Vietnam, The World Bank and New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT). He is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Queensland and guest lecturer in Global Politics and Development at the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
