* Responsible for eClinicalWorks eHUB. The eHUB manages the exchange of data between all participating clinical systems, and facilitates the management of multiple interfaces, providing tools for tracking purposes. Tracking includes practices, providers, medical tests, and reports, using Tomcat, Java, MySQL, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery.* Implemented REST calls from the eHubs to a central server for the transfer of laboratory and practice/provider data. This data is used for the monthly billing of labs. Also implemented a UI to display the association between labs and practices/providers for each eHub with this data.

* Part of a team that developed a leading edge local advertising platform to manage over $3 million in spend per month per client. Involved from the initial requirements phase through project planning, design, implementation, testing, rollout and ongoing devops support for the installed platforms. This included working with small agile based teams, following a modified agile process.* Redesigned a labored PHP implementation to a more scalable Java-based architecture which has since processed increased pixel traffic in excess of 14 million pixel hits a day.* Used ETL to migrate a normalized database to a database warehouse using MySQL in a Star Schema configuration with facts and dimensions. This warehouse stores all Google, Bing, and Yahoo data , all client pixel data, and all data feed data for the agency business – this currently totals over 4 TB of data.* Designed and implemented a versatile Report Service which collates data from the data warehouse. The service is hosted on JBoss A/S and accessible via SOAP (JAX-WS) requests. The service supports an XML query language that returns CSV reports with summarized data for internal account managers or for other applications to use in their daily management of the client accounts. The daily volume of these reports now totals over 3000 daily.* Designed and Implemented a Threshold Service responsible for monitoring performance data and resulting in email alerts if passed custom criteria are met. This JBoss A/S hosted SOAP service utilizes the Report Service to gather the relevant metrics and subsequently parses the results comparing the data in accordance with the custom user-specified rules.

Part of a small team of engineers that designed, implemented, tested, and supported a new VoIP client/server Fire dispatching system for New York using C++, STL, MFC, and MySQL.

* Assumed the maintenance, design, and implementation of all server-side software using C++, STL, MFC, MySQL.* Stabilized the server by identifying and fixing thread locking problems.* Designed and implemented an automatic reconnection mechanism for an existing client/server application.* Refactored an application to minimize server lag. This was accomplished by moving from polling to an event based message dispatching mechanism.

* Instrumental in transitioning web site from HTML/C++ games running on Irix to Java/C++ games running on Linux.* Responsible for rapid response and subsequent correction for on-call text message alerts related to web site availability.
