I have worked for the last 10 years in public education. This career has brought me experience in leading groups of people, developing programs, and writing for a number of reasons. It has also led to me acting as a voice through my writing for others, whether it was advocating for students or for my colleagues and profession as a whole. I have also been an assistant high school football coach during this time, and feel that the responsibilities and skills I learned in that role will also help me in any professional endeavors.
