I have enjoyed the challenges of working in the oil & energy industry. SPL continues to give me opportunities to grow my knowledge of Petroleum Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Laboratory techniques, wet Chemistry, data systems and general lab operations duties. For example, sometimes a test must be modified because the sample matrix does not fully fit the scope of the test. Getting this modified method to produce a good result for our customer is satisfying.I am interest in physical fitness and eating a sensible diet. Physical activities range from yard work, hiking, biking, strength training, and playing sports. Board/video games with family and friends are also a favorite pastime.
