As an alumnus of the University of Massachusetts Lowell, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, I am looking forward to starting a career in my field with the goal of becoming a CPA.My path to this point has been one filled with many turns and detours along the way. Like many young people I was not sure what I wanted to do with my life and I did not find my passion for accounting until I was completing my certificate in Business Information Technology at Massbay Community College, which included several accounting courses. Being a rather detail oriented person I found the classes rather informative. I finished my Associates of Science degree in Accounting at Massbay and was top in my program for the graduating class. From there I transferred to the University of Massachusetts in Lowell to continue my education and complete my bachelor's degree.With the strong work ethic I have developed from the jobs I have held since high school I am looking to the future. My previous work experience has taught me to work well as a team member or individual. I have always felt you need to work for what you want and I feel ready to take the next steps towards my goals.
