Theatre Department Chair/Professor-etc. Department Chair for Theatre & coordinator for Music, Theatre, and Dance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to recruiting, hiring, orientation, mentoring, and professional developmental activities, contracting, evaluation, and rehiring/termination of adjunct faculty; coordinate preparation of semester schedule(s) & college catalog; supervise & maintain equipment & facilities; coordinate program reviews for North Central Association, Colorado Commission on Higher Education &/or the State Board for Community Colleges & Occupational Education; evaluation of student academic records wishing to transfer credit to department or receive credit for prior learning; serve as primary point of contact for department with Site Directors; coordinate curriculum review, revision, development, book adoptions, & implementation to department disciplines; coordinate development & maintenance of course outlines; advise & assist students with registration process; serve as primary contact for students with concerns or complaints relating to department &/or faculty; assist in recruiting students; implement & support policies, procedures, and initiatives of the State Board for Community College & Occupational Education, implement & follow Fiscal Rules of the State of Colorado, policies of Colorado Commission on Higher Education, & all applicable state and federal statutes; complete all duties assigned by the Division Dean, Vice President for Educational Services, and the College President; conduct individual interviews for student assessment & placement with appropriate instructor; coordinate performance & production schedules of the three disciplines, jointly &/or separately on and off of the colleges three campuses; serve as Designer, Director, Technical Director, & Producer.
