Job RoleManage and organise resources to ensure optimum efficiency in accordance with daily plan.Manage line performance against plan, communicate regularly both with the management team ensuring corrective actions are taken (including in the event of unplanned downtime) and optimum OEE is achieved.Ensure site Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed including undertaking regular risk assessments and ensuring near misses are reported and documented.Monitor and enforce compliance with all site policies and procedures to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and subsequent investigating and reporting on any non compliance.Identify training needs and follow up on appropriate training and development in order to develop and maintain the appropriate skills within the team including the management and development of several apprentices within the production team.Facilitate & Execute Continuous Improvement alongside senior management and CI team by undertaking a 5's methodology.
