About Michael Steiner
Michael Steiner is a Brooklyn based Industrial Designer and Product Leader with a passion for transportation, mobility, and spatial design. He is currently working on battery charging and swapping technology for the US market.Previously, Michael joined the founding team of Vammo in July, 2022 (formerly Leoparda Electric) where he served as Head of Hardware Design.Before Vammo, Michael served as Senior Product Manager and Industrial Design Manager for AON3D, an innovative additive manufacturing startup that makes open-material Industrial 3D Printers for high-strength applications.Previously he lead the Charging Infrastructure and Street Infrastructure development for JUMP, Uber's Micromobility vertical.Michael was one of the first ten members of the Social Bicycles team, where he developed the initial infrastructure product and strategy for street parking, way-finding, and payment kiosk products. When SoBi evolved into JUMP and launched the first shared dockless E-Bike, he shifted focus into leading the development of charging infrastructure for both on-street applications as well as in-warehouse charging solutions for operations, and continued this role at Uber.
