Managed and directed the activities of defunct financial institutions. Directed the activities of these operating venture capital firms through staff and contractors to improve the collection to the SBA. Most notably were 2 venture capital firms that attempted to "cram down" the SBA's claim. Michael's bankruptcy experience provided a plan that avoided a 90% loss and returned 100% of the outstanding claim to the SBA. Michael won awards for saving the government $12 million and avoiding $10+ million loss.
