Previously a Technical Support Engineer II at Evault. Evault has now transitioned to being owned by Carbonite and the role has changed to a Solutions Engineer internally. Presently we work with customers to help determine best options for Disaster Recovery scenarios involving Windows, Linux, AIX, iSeries, VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle, SQL, Exchange, Active Directory and many other types of backup and recovery scenarios. This involves recovering from disasters as working to help ensure proper monitoring is in place to ensure backups are running normally as well as troubleshooting from various operating systems across the environment (to follow the logs).

Taking into consideration that 80% of Storage downtime is caused by upgrades, I work in a dedicated EMC team that helps analyze problems, correct them and minimize the impact of concerns before they become a potential disruption to businesses. We also work to have the upgrades performed remotely.
