I also research, write and edit press releases, artist biographies and concert programmes for the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) with whom I have enjoyed a close working relationship for the last ten years. Other clients have included Edinburgh classical guitarist Simon Thacker, Arild Andersen, BBC Radio Scotland, and SNJO artistic director Tommy Smith. Michael also assisted Simon Thacker for three consecutive years with press materials for his Edinburgh Fringe concert series. I was also in pre-release communications for ‘Modern Jacobite’, Tommy Smith’s recording with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. I have produced and distributed eight print titles, which I wrote, edited, typeset and provided original cover art. I have also illustrated the main characters for his Erin Greengloves series and produced back cover art to the forthcoming non-fiction title, ‘The Fragmented World of the Mongoose Lemur’.
