Ritenour Middle School
Serve as a leader of the social emotional support team, helping to ensure a safe school facility that is attractive, trauma informed, and productive place in which to learn. While in the process, help students to reach their full potential by helping foster a positive, engaging and caring atmosphere and by effectively and proactively communicating with our families and guardians.

I work with students and families K-12 to help create a harmonious and collaborative environment to help students reach their academic potential. Helping students to become more productive and motivated to move forward in a positive manner, while fostering a congenial relationship between the district and families. Helping all to understand, "where we begin, doesn't have to be where we end up." Beginning the school year 2017/2018 there will be a focus on Social Emotional Behavior (SEB) and trauma-focused care. Beginning the school year 2018/2019 duties will be focused on the middle school level at Ritenour Middle School.
Positive Transitions Program
For 2 years during this time period, I worked for ACE Learning Centers in the Ritenour School District with Alexis McNece as my Supervisor. In 2008, the program became exclusively a part of the Ritenour School District. Worked with middle school students who violated the safe school's act or were suspended from the traditional setting. Worked with them to cultivate better self-control and the enhancement of their decision-making ability, all while helping to foster a renewed interest in their academics. Also, worked extensively with their families in a wrap-around manner to ensure a successful collaboration.
Co-facilitation of the inaugural after school elementary Boys 2 Men program in 2007, at Marion Elementary. The program focused on building strong character, and the improvement of social and academic skills. The Boys 2 Men program later extended to Ritenour Middle School, and subsequently, Hoech Middle School. Will resume co- facilitating the Boys 2 Men program in the school year 2018/2019.
