Michael S. Stevenson, Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Cashier at Royal Banks of Missouri. He oversees the Banks Retail Branch Network, information technology, compliance and quality control departments. Royal Banks of Missouri has 17 branch locations in Missouri and Illinois. Mr. Stevenson has been with the Bank since 2001. He started as Vice President, Commercial Lender until 2006 when he took over management of the Retail Branches.Under his leadership as Head of Retail Banking Officer the Bank has rolled out several key technologies centered products that provide clients with greater access to conduct their banking needs more efficiently. In 2017, he was instrumental in the Banks retail branch transformation which implemented moving away from traditional Personal Bankers & Tellers to Relationship Bankers. This transformation also included the conversion of the Bank’s drive up Automatic Teller Machines to Interactive Teller Machines allowing clients extended hours to complete their banking transactions. Before joining Royal Banks of Missouri, he spent 13 years at Mercantile Bank (Now US Bank) in various business units that included retail operations, indirect financing, and commercial lending where he managed the Business Banking Units Special Assets Department. Mr. Stevenson is a member of the Banks Executive Committee, ALCO, CRA, Compliance, Marketing, and technology. He currently serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors for the Bank and Holding Company.
