My primary task is bidding the fabrication of duct-work for in-house and mechanical contractors throughout the Pacific Northwest

• Update pricing and reviewed jobs of existing customer accounts as required• Developed material & labor quantification spreadsheet for use on new and existing accounts• Fielded new inquiries and sought out new business• Communicated with customers, vendors and team members regarding orders, shipping and QC• Monitor and report inventory and shipping schedule changes to customer• Assisted with the development and improving of job process to increase efficiencies

• Responsible for preparing Quotes and Estimates using an MRP system (NaVision) • Read prints and made estimates from conceptual prints, determined the most cost effective • methods of manufacturing new work, and developed fabrication plans • Daily interaction with customers, vendors, and other employees to determine job feasibility. • Produce the highest quality work possible in accordance with and offer suggestions for improving the companies’ quality program • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare labor and material estimates • Review and analyze actual costs to find ways to improve shop efficiency.
